Sabre 362

The Sabre 362 is one of their more popular late models that enjoyed a long production run. Sabre is known for their high quality of construction and finish detail, with a beautifully hand-crafted varnished Cherry interior. Attractive lines and solid, stable performance complete the picture. Jim Taylor is an excellent designer of fast cruising boats and the 362 is a fine example of his work, garnering honors from the yachting press. A cabintop traveler clears the cockpit of the mainsheet and allows for optimal placement of the dodger. The self-tailing genoa sheet winches are located where they can be reached from the helm. You will find ample storage throughout in well-placed lockers, cabinets and drawers. Lines run aft to the cockpit for easy handling and safety.

“Whisper” was purchased by her current owners in 1996 through RCR who found her on the Chesapeake. She has been sailed on fresh water ever since. She is a well-maintained yacht with numerous upgrades and special features, such as extra battery capacity, a high-output alternator, larger fuel tank and so forth. Many Sabres were built with dark colored hulls that fade over time, but “Whisper” is a hard to find white hull that does not look her age.
