Gozzard 31 Cutter

The Gozzard 31 has a very handsome and classic hull with a beam that is most generous. Her keel is a long fin with outside lead ballast providing a good grounding shoe. She weighs in at 12,000 pounds and sports a lovely, long bowsprit. She is rigged with a removable cutter sail and with a big foretriangle to allow plenty of room for both headsails. The shroud base is wide and goes to external chainplates. 

Her interior is clearly designed for a cruising couple with small children or occasional guests. Her layout employs some features usually found on bigger boats. Her dinette is pushed forward and wraps around to make a very inviting conversation area or a secondary berth. Her galley is in the widest part of the boat and is adjacent to a large navigation area. Aft to port, there is a shower stall attached to the head with a sliding sink/vanity that pulls out over the head. Aft to starboard, she has a stateroom with a large hanging locker. Truly, she boasts a layout where there are two completely private cabins for sleeping.

Her cockpit has a built-in steering console-table with a mainsheet “Barney Post” arrangement that will be a convenient place to brace your feet when heeled. There is also a fold-down swim step boarding ladder built into the transom that allows easy access to the davit/dinghy system or for swimming in a beautiful, secluded cove.

GRACE NOTE is a lightly used, freshwater-only boat with less than 500 hours on her engine. She has undergone a refit in recent years at the Gozzard Yard where her hull was painted a beautiful Flag Blue. Her nav station was also redone so as to be more practical in use and styling.
