1992/2005 Tollycraft 44. Complete refit during the winter of 04/05, engines removed and transported to the Caterpillar factory service center for a top to bottom overhaul and the addition of all factory upgrades. Transmissions were bench tested and serviced as needed. While the engines were out the engine room was refinished with gelcoat, fuel tanks had inspection ports installed, fill hoses were replaced, the fresh water system was renewed, the hot water heater replaced with stainless steel, Xantrex inverter installed, additional batteries added, and all ship’s systems serviced or replaced as needed.
In addition a bow thruster, custom made therapeutic mattresses, water maker, 4 blade props, transom dinghy davit, vacuflush heads, Sealand macerators and the electronics upgraded.
The teak interior was refinished with 10 coats of varnish, headliners, upholstery and carpets replaced, teak stairs were added, appliances replaced and a custom hardtop manufactured over the flybridge.
