Vessel Walkthrough

The interior upholstery was replaced with sunbrella.
Starting forward is the private owner's cabin with ensuite head. A vanity table or desk is conveniently located to port along with a bank of four storage cubbies and a double cedar lined hanging locker. The double Pullman berth is located to starboard and has two drawers and additional storage underneath. There is a full length mirror, three opening ports and two opening overhead hatchs, all with screens. The owners head has a separate shower seat, nicro vent, opening port and overhead hatch.

Next aft is the main saloon with "L" shaped settee to starboard which converts to a double bed, double captains chairs to port with table between which converts to a single settee and Island Packet's signature bulkhead mounted table with extension leaf. The teak in Kamouraska has been wonderfully maintained. The cabin sole in the salon and forward owner's cabin is teak and holly and is in excellent condition.

The comfortable, secure nav station is to starboard and slightly aft of the seating area. This is the best navigation station Island Packet has designed. In all weather conditions the navigator is secure and safe, with ample room for any desired electronics.

The galley in the IP 44 is to starboard of the companionway. The cook has a wonderful place to work with ample countertops trimmed in Corian, plenty of enclosed storage, two drawers, a big area for dry storage, double stainless steel sinks, microwave, three burner Princess propane stove and new separate freezer and refrigerator.

The guest suite is to port of the companionway and features a queen size berth, double cedar lined hanging locker, dressing seat, two cubbies and three opening ports and a hatch for good ventilation. On the private door to the guest head is a full length mirror.
The guest head is accessed from the salon area or from the aft cabin and actually has a separate shower with small tub. There are very nice details such as good storage and a drop down vanity mirror.
The IP 44 also features non-skid in the area at the base of the companionway stairs allowing good footing in the galley and nav area and saving wear and tear on the saloon floor.
Kamouraska's interior is warm, inviting, and is an excellent place to spend time while cruising.
