Wow!! Is what I said when I first saw "Barbara Jane". This Island Packet 32 is absolutely as clean as clean can be. The owners have really done a great jobat keeping her clean and well maintained. The owners are interested in selling her right away and would appreciate any reasonable offer. She is conveniant to my office and available to see anytime.

The Island Packet 32 evolved from the IP 31. With tweaked hull, keel, and rudder shapes, her performance was enhanced under both power and sail. Like the 31, she has a luxriously comfortable and safe interior with lots of elbow room and standing headroom throughout. The 32 can sleep 7 with 2 double berths, a saloon settee that converts to a double and a settee long enough for an adult. Her Galley and Head are large and have both lots of storage and ventilation. This is a 32 that has been very well maintained and she had a West System preventative Barrier Coat, the engine has been rebuilt and a new transmission installed. She is well worth seeing.
The Anchor Locker is in the bow and accessed through the forward cabin. There is a large Vee Berth with storage under. A hanging locker and cabinet are inside the entrance to starboard. An opening hatch and 2 opening ports keep the forward cabin comfortable.
The Head follows aft to port with commode, sink, shower with seat and of course hot/cold water was standard. There are 2 opening ports and a hatch ventilating the head.
Next, aft, is the Main Saloon with IP’s bulkhead mounted table and “L” shaped settee to port which pulls out making a double berth. A straight settee is across on the starboard side. There are 4 opening ports and an opening hatch. Tremendous storage under, behind and over the settees including a pull out chart drawer under the starboard settee.
Aft on the port side is the open aft cabin with a privacy curtain. There is a forward facing drop down nav table inside the cabin entrance that is large enough for real chart work. The electric panel is located by the nav table built into the bureau cabinets and hanging locker.
The “U” shaped Galley is across on starboard separated by the companionway from the aft cabin. There is an amazing amount of counter space and a drop down table on the saloon side of the sink. There is a double sink, huge ice box, and plenty of storage including dinner ware storage against the aft bulkhead and above a custom mug/book rack/paper towel holder.
Like all IPs, the Cockpit is large allowing comfortable sailing, entertaining or sleeping.
