This GRAND BANKS 42 in classic version is really beautiful.
If you loves Trawlers Grand Banks, I invite you to come and visit !
Let me explain :

The owner is a passionate and a great connisseur of Grand Banks.
He himself go to Singapour in 1992 to oversee the end of construction of the vessel in the intention to make precise specifications :
- In order to fix legs in serenity, the hull has been specially reinforced.
- Likewise for the davits, the hull has been also specially reinforced.
- The platform rear teak is the greatest version.
- Inside, there were many changes made by the shipyard at the request of the owner.

CEO of a major construction machinery, the seller has constantly improved its boat equipment with piece tailor-made by his company :
- Legs high-strength stainless steel has been installed to be wintered easily
- Davits very resistant stainless steel (300 kg load)
- Folding stainless cradle radar on flying bridge
- All drawers in the kitchen and saloon are equipped with fixing wooden block content

In economic cruising speed (9 / 9.5 Kts), it consumes 20 to 22 liters per hour for both engines combined but the maximum speed is between 14 and 15 knots.
With its diesel tanks of 2 600 liters by communicating valves, this Grand Banks 42 has enough capacity to cross the Atlantic Sea.

As you can immagine, the whole was (of course) beautifully maintained.
The equipment has been changed when it was necessary, the latest being:
- Cooker and oven NEFF 2003
- Chargers and converter 2005
- Batteries 2007
- Pilot auto B & B 2003
- BIP 2005
- Etc ...

Wintered 6 months per year under hangar, this vessel is impeccable and hard to believe that it is 1992.
