This Custom Carolina style sportfisherman by Buddy Harris is a true classic in every sense of the word. She is big, powerful, and has a rough water ride that other boats wish they had. The present owner is only the second proud commander of this offshore warrior, and after taking possession in 2000 he has totally redone the boat from bow to stern. In 2000 he did new exterior paint, curtains, and electronics. June 2001 brought a total mechanical repower, with new Cummings 450C engines, new transmissions, a new generator, new plumbing, new mechanical systems, and new electrical systems. During 2002 he had the complete hull re-fiberglassed, and had a new transom Tuna door added, and again a complete paint job. August 2003 the fuel and water tanks were replaced, increasing the fuel capacity to 600 gallons. From July 2007 to July 2008, he undertook the biggest project yet. He remodeled the entire hardtop and half tower, updating the entire bridge. The transom fish box has been insulated, the head has been gutted and remodeled, She has been re-wired, re-powered, re-worked, re-modeled, you name it, it has been done.

The owner is a real maintenance fanatic, changing the oil every 100 hours on these low, 900 hour engines. The engines were completely serviced in Aug. 2008.
