The 44 Sundeck, designed by Ed Monk, quickly became one of Tolly's most popular models featuring a soft dry ride, great sea keeping in the ocean and great accommodations for up to six overnight.

This one has been freshwater kept it's entire life and only ventured into salt water for a month or two each summer season. Shalmar has the 4-stroke, Detroit "Fuel Miser" diesls for smooth, quiet efficient cruisng

The vessel is easily boarded via the swim platform, aft, then forward thru the cockpit, up 3 steps and on to the large sundeck with hardtop. Down 3 steps takes you into the salon which may also be boarded from the sliding door starboard. The salon features an L shaped sectional sofa to starboard, hi-low teak table and a nice club chair to port. Down 4 steps the galley, to port, and dinette, to starboard are on the same level. On the same level, forward is the guest stateroom with roomy V-berth and private head with ensuite shower.

Aft of the main salon there are 3 steps on the port side leading down to the private master with queen island berth on center, storage and cabinetry to port and master head with separate stall shower, to starboard.
