Three Cabin Layout
The interior fit and finish is pure Ta Shing: unsurpassed quality and materials, fine joinery work, louvered locker doors, soft vinyl headliner with access to deck hardware and wiring. Corian counter-tops in the galley and heads. The satin varnished cabin sole has numerous opening trap doors for bilge and tank access.
Forward The VIP Guest Stateroom. It features a full width v-berth, upholstered seat, vanity, double hanging lockers, drawers and locker storage. The forward cabin is well ventilated with overhead hatch and two opening ports.
Port Guest Cabin: The guest cabin portside features upper and lowersingle berths, hanging locker dressing table and mirror above with drawers and lockers beneath.
Forward Head: Opposite the port guest cabin to starboard is the guest head with access from both forward cabins. It is a well sized head with separate shower stall, electric head/macerator and features fresh water flush and y-valve.
Owner's Cabin: The owner’s cabin aft is a large, airy, quietly opulent stateroom with curved settees flanking a centerline island queen berth with two ports opening to the transom. The cedar lined hanging lockers, handsome teak cabinetry, shelving and drawers and a mirrored vanity/dressing table with swivel seat on the forward bulkhead provides generous, practical storage and utility. The two side ports, overhead hatch and two transom ports provide excellent ventilation. With generous storage, the en suite aft head has a spate shower with seat and Plexiglass door, mirrored Corian vanity with stainless steel sink, and Groco Model K head with Electrosan or direct discharge.
Main Salon: The main salon is spacious, open and bright with large fixed portlights ,and curtains. Excellent light and ventilation are provided by overhead hatches and side opening ports. The main settee to port is horseshoe shaped and has a hi-low dining table which seats six. A small cocktail cabin can be lowered for informal gatherings replacing the large table. To starboard are two comfortable upholstered teak swivel chairs set on either side of the center table. The liquor and wine cabinet is located behind curved teak locker doors to starboard. The entire cabin sole is protected by a set of new custom fitted rugs.
Navigation Station: The forward facing nav station is located to port of the companionway stairs. It features a full chart sized teak desk with convenient instrument access. Additional storage, book cases and extra cabinets provide ample space for items which should be easily accessed by the navigator.
Galley: The galley is a seagoing, wrap around galley aft and to port of the companionway. It is out of the way of the traffic flow to and from the companionway, but close enough for the cook to be engaged with guests in the main salon. Tons of cabinets and lockers, a large cabinet for pots and pans and a stow-away waste bin make this a very functional galley.
