This is one of the last boats built at venerable Pearson Yachts factory and it's a great one. The 38 was re-designed by Bill Shaw from the popular 36. The mold was re-tooled to add a swim platform, walk through transom and shower. What a great boat it was and still is. This one has been very well maintained and shows it. Great coastal cruiser with speed and lots of room. Can be shown on short notice. Don't miss this one.

The Pearson 38 was a newer improved version of the very popular Pearson 36 designed just a few tears earlier but with a swim platform, walk through transom and hot shower in cockpit.
The layout is designed for a family or two couples to cruise with two private staterooms and a large head/shower area.
Starting forward there is a large vee berth with filler, hanging locker, storage shelves and large overhead hatch. Coming aft the salon has a settee to port, an "L" shaped dinette to starboard that converts to a third double bunk, a centerline drop leaf dining table, lots of storage outboard on both sides and another big hatch above.
Aft to port is a real nav station with seat, electrical panel and instruments. Across to starboard is the "L" shaped galley with double stainless sinks, large cooler with 12v refrigeration, propane stove and oven and ample storage for dinnerware and food.
Furthest aft to port is a large head compartment with marine toilet, holding tank, vanity with sink and hot and cold pressure water system with shower and sump.
The entire sole is teak and holly and there are many opening ports for adequate ventilation.
