J Boats J/44

 The J/44 has been called the best dual purpose sailboat over 40' ever built. While the J/44 is quite capable as a racer, it is probably the best laid out boat for a cruiser in the the mid 40 foot range. With it's voluminous hull, traditional cabin layout, and easy handling by a couple, the J/44 cruises as well as she races. The goal of the J/44 design brief was to be capable of both racing to Bermuda and cruising in style and comfort. Both goals have been accomplished in grand style.

She has had many recent upgrades including New Awlgrip on the hull in 2011 and excellent interior & exterior varnish. New interior & exterior cushions in 2007 as well as a constantly updated sail inventory.
