The passage 42 is a roomy cruiser with a great turn of speed. There are many knowledgeable cruisers who feel that this is one of the best boats Hunter has made. Breath Of Heaven is a great boat that had a bad thing happen. Her owners had her hauled and stored in St Petersburg with a friend to keep an eye on her while they set out on an extended cruise on their larger sailboat. The scuppers filled with leaves and she took in rain water.Now she is in need of a thorough cleanup and replacement of some of the teak & holly sole.

The area aft of the companionway and low in the boat is where most of the soiling and watermarking is. In on the way to the aft cabin there is water marking up 2-3 inches on some of the bulkheads - this is not rotted or delaminated - just marked with a water line. Most of it will clean up. the same is true on the forward bulkhead of the master SR. There is mold and mildew on a lot of surfaces in the master SR. The rest of the boat looks good - it is just in need of a thorough cleaning.

The owners misfortune could be your good fortune as they have decided to sell her "as is" and let someone else buy a terrific yacht at a very reasonable price plus a few days of hard work. When she came out of the water everything worked on board (we know that the radar needs a new rotator motor) and while we cannot assure that all systems work today there is a good probability that they will.
