MERMAID is a handsome dark green Duffy 35 Hardtop Cruiser with a canvas backdrop and starboard side in the pilothouse. She benefited from a major refit in 2004 which included the installation of a new Crusader gasoline inboard FWC engine, the refinishing of the cockpit sole and hull ceiling, new head countertops, new hot water heater, new head and macerator pump, new holding tank and access to it, and many other improvements. The interior of MERMAID is exceptionally attractive and pleasing with a Herreshoff-style interior, with varnished mahogany trim and deck beams, a complete galley to satisfy any “sea going” cook, a comfortable dinette, and clean, spacious head.
