"Sirocco" was purchased by her current owners on 6/10/2010 with plans to do the Great Loop. The boat had been located at Regatta Point Marine in Deltaville, VA (Chesapeake Bay) for the 3 years prior to that. From 2000 to 2007 she was located in Cincinnati, OH. After purchased by the current owners, the boat was moved to Matthews Point Marina, Neuse River, NC for retrofit. She started her move north and departed via the Inter Coastal in May of 2011. She wintered 2011 in heated storage at Winter Harbor, Brewerton, NY. In the spring of 2012 she continued with a trip through the Great Lakes ending here at Irish Boat Shop, Harbor Springs, MI where she is currently stored in our heated facility.

April 2011 Replaced all canvas and Strato glass on the bridge and aft deck (Stamoid Open canvas and 40 gauge Strato).
April 2011 Replaced forward A/C unit.
May 2011 Replaced Windlass with new Maxwell 1000 lb unit.
May 2012 Installed 26" flat screen TV in master stateroom.
May 2012 Repainted bottom with Pettit PCA Gold.
May 2012 Replaced 12KW generator with a Beta Marine unit. Also installed a GSI soft side sound enclosure. Approximately 190 hour on unit.
Both have approximately the same engine hours and have had no known problems. Routine maintenance has always been completed to the best of the sellers knowledge. This includes all zincs to schedule. Current engine hours are a little over 3400 on both engines. Information from the prior owner shows that the injectors were replaced at 2500 hours, after coolers and turbo units disassembled, cleaned and reinstalled with all new gaskets in June 2006.
August 2010 Both alternators were replaced with high amp hour output units.
December 2011 Mechanic went over both engines. Replaced pulley's, belts, impellers and raw water pumps.
May 2012 Replaced both 8D engine start batteries.
September 2012 Prior to storage, oil and filters were changed. Fuel system is normally done at spring launch.
The aft deck has a hard top and is fully enclosed with removable 40 gauge Strata glass that was new in 2011. White wicker furniture adorns her carpeted deck. A boarding ladder/plank is stored on the port railing with additional hooks for line storage. There is a varnished wood entertainment center with sink, counter top, refrigerator/ice-maker and storage. Above the center is a wood trimmed, enclosed nook which houses a flat-screen TV. A boarding gate is on the transom with a stainless ladder leading to the swim platform, there is also a stainless swim ladder on the platform. Wooden doors with tinted glass lead forward to the side decks on either side, an etched glass door leads below to the main saloon, and a stainless ladder with wooden steps takes you up through the companionway to the bridge deck and helm. The companionway has a sliding hatch and hinged, wooden hatch boards. On the roof of the aft deck is a 2009 Zodiac 310 RIB secured to her chocks, an electric davit system makes launching and retrieving a breeze.
The bridge deck is also fully enclosed with a radar arch, Stamoid canvas bimini, and 40 gauge Strata glass that was new in 2011. The bow deck cushions are stored here along with safety equipment and a ton of extra parts. There is a L-shaped seat to starboard and storage to port. Two pedestal pilot seats are adjustable, comfortable and provide a commanding 360 degree view. The helm station features updated electronics, engine controls, gauges and switches.
The custom glass etched door leads to the main saloon which is open, airy with plenty of natural light and ventilation. To starboard is a L-shaped settee with comfortable cushions and throw pillows. Forward of the settee are teak cabinets that house the electrical panel and storage designated for glassware and bottle storage. Aft of the settee is a large, framed mirror, wall lamp and counter-top display area. To the port side and forward is a 32" flat-screen TV/DVD player and a built in wine cooler that were both new in 2010. Along the port side is storage for the entertainment center which boast a CD player that hods 300 of your favorite CD's, amp, receiver, KVH satellite TV system, regulated power supply and custom vent fans to keep the whole system cool. The system is also wired for Direct TV. Aft of that are more cabinets for storage and a full length counter-top. A leather, swivel chair with matching ottoman makes for a great place to enjoy a book or watch TV.
Stairs lead down to the forward galley with the main galley to port and dinette to starboard. The galley is a chefs dream with a full size 16.6 cu ft. refrigerator that was new in 2010, a Sharp Carousel II Microwave/Convection oven, Origo 4-burner, electric cook-top, toaster oven, coffee maker, dual basin stainless sink, ample storage and a teak parquet floor. The dinette seats 4 comfortably with new cushions in 2011.
The forward stateroom is tastefully decorated with blues and yellow. A large walk-around island queen berth will make your guest feel right at home. A large cedar lined hanging locker and drawers provide ample storage. Port holes, an overhead hatch, large framed mirror, and direct and indirect lighting make it a very bright and open atmosphere. The forward head is to port and opens to the forward stateroom. It features a vanity, stall shower with glass doors, storage and electric MSD toilet.
Heading aft and down the stairs to port is the full width master stateroom. On the stairs, and to port is an enclosed front loading Comb-o-Matic washer/dryer. Cabinets to starboard house the battery switches and central vacuum system. The master has a queen sized berth and lots of wood paneling and trim. To port is generous cedar-lined storage with drawers behind doors, shelving and a full height hanging closet with mirrored doors. To starboard is another tall hanging closet with a make-up counter and storage. More indirect, direct lighting, opening ports and windows make the room feel bright and open. A private entertainment center features a 26" flat-screen TV that was new in 2012 along with a DVD player and hook-up for satellite TV. The master head with electric toilet is forward and to starboard, it has a shower combined with a tub and glass enclosure. A large vanity with sink and again, plenty of storage...
The engine room is accessed under the stairs leading down to the galley. It provides ample room to move about, making it easy to inspect and service the engines, filters and batteries. Wing tanks offer 90 gallons each of usable fuel, while the main 293 gallon center tank is aft under the master berth. Forward of the starboard engine is the 12 KW Beta Marine generator that was new in May of 2012. This is easily accessible and sound insulated with a GSI Soft sided enclosure that was also new in 2012.
