Silverton Express

This 1989 Silverton 40 Express is located in the Rhode Island and Southern Mass area. She is a great boat for extensive cruising or even as a live aboard. The 14 foot beam provides tremendous room below and gives the impression that the boat is much larger than 40 feet.

Entrance to the aft deck is in the center of the transom. Forward facing seating benches can be found to either side of the entrance. An additional reverse “L” lounger with table is found to port making the aft deck a great conversational area. A unique “U” shaped wet bar is found on the starboard side just aft of the helm. The oversized helm seat is comfortable and provides great visibility while a double passenger seat is to port.

Entering the cabin you find a large spacious well laid out cabin that features light oak cabinetry and finish and bright colors to create a cherry atmosphere. Galley is to port along the hull. Just behind the galley is the entrance to the enclosed mid cabin which features a full size double bed. The head is located aft and to starboard. Forward of this a convertible dinette occupies the central space in the salon. The large center island berth is in the forward stateroom which can be closed off for privacy.

The recently redone holly/teak sole show the quality of this boat as you step inside.

This boat comes with a roomy head with enclosed shower, air conditioning, satellite cable ready built in TV, Furuno Radar, GPS/Depth/Fish Finder, Westerbeke generator, and engine synchronizer

The roominess is echoed on the main deck with plenty of room for lavish entertaining.

The recently replaced canvas comes with great screens for excellent visibility.
The deck cushions were also recently replaced making this Silverton 40X look much newer than her actual age might suggest

Along with new canvas, and new cushions this owner has also replaced the engines with 454 Crusaders that have ONLY 60 HOURS ON THEM!!!
