Sealine 285 Ambassador

1989 Sealine 285 Ambassador, so one of the last of the production line. Fitted with Twin Volvo Penta AQAD31A’s/DP290’s with circa 1200hrs.


The Sealine is in great condition for the year of manufacture and the engines run well and along with the out drives have been serviced this year. These engines are economic especially for their age (circa 6gl/hr @ 18 – 20kts or 3mpg, it cruises at 18-20kts at 3,000rpm, hence the economy. The boat will run at 26kts flat out (3,600rpm). These are subject to conditions, load , and clean hull and can not be relied upon.

A new rear canopy was fitted in May 11, along with a new compass, depth sounder, calorifier, radio/CD. This Sealine has to be seen to be appreciated.
