PASSENGER SHIP 75'

‘Spirit of the Gold Coast’ is a 23 Metre Passenger Ship in 1C and 1D survey and licence to carry 175 Persons – 170 Passengers. ‘Spirit’ has been running a daily whale watching programme from the Gold Coast for the last several years during the whale watching season. The vessel was built in New Zealand in 1989 of alloy. She has two Detroit 16V92TA 672 KW 1000 HP diesel engines. The port engine has just been replaced with a reconditioned engine. The starboard engine has 6,000 hours. The boat has been antifouled in December 2010.

The boat is ideally suited for ocean operations and is a stable platform and provides good passenger comfort and amenities.

Due date for the next periodic survey is 11 August 2011, out of water survey 21 May 2011, compass adjustment 16 June 2011, Shaft survey 16 May 2011 and next life-raft survey on the 6th May 2011.

The vessel also offer a slippery dip  and side nets for passenger enjoyment.

The vessel is located on the Gold Coast and is in good operational condition and ready for sale.
