Cambria Cambria 44

OLD FLAME is a classic Cambria 44 in superb condition and the only larger Cambria currently available.She is ready to cruise, and in great condition with a long list of options including generator and central air conditioning.  Upgrades include a Leisure Furl stow boom in 2005.

Her current replacement cost is over $1,000,000. Built in 1989, she was displayed in the Annapolis Boat Show the same year.  Upgrades in 2005 included new sails, Leisure Furl stow boom, autopilot and chart plotter radar.  The machinery hours are low, 1512 for the main engine and 316 on the generator.

Ferenc Mate, in his renowned "The World's Best Sailboats, A Survey", featured the David Walters designed and built Cambrias.Included in his summary was a statement that "you will be delivered a yacht of excellent design and engineering, not inexpensive but then the Cambria quality is among the world's best".

Built in New England, the Cambria provides strength, exquisite interior joinery, shoal draft (6' with board raised), classic aft cockpit styling and a performance cruising hull shape that is both fast and manageable offshore. Two companionways provide entry to the aft cabin from the cockpit, and to the salon from the midship cockpit. The AC generator provides 110v power when not connected to shore power, which insures air conditioning or heat while sailing.
