Designed by Ed Dubois in 1984, the Westerly Seahawk 34 evolved four years later in the Model 35 (or Mark 2), with an elongated stern to incorporate a small platform, that is the model of this unit. In the evolution also the internal upholstery was improved as the storage space. The model was continued by the successive Oceanlord and Oceanquest, in production until 2000, thus demonstrating the hull validity. The Seahawk, with twin keels, is a perfect boat for low waters and to stay in the hard while in ebb tides. Its performances, not exceptional upwind, are however fine and recognised by seamen through the commercial success of the model (more than 125 units of the first two versions). Another plus is it internal habitability, with a good sized saloon, and big galley and a huge aft cabin, while the forecastle is a bit reduced. All this makes for a high comfort during the long passages and the Seahawk is recognised as a blue water cruiser, in spite of its reduced dimensions. This unit has been very well kept of by a professional crew and she is ready to start long distance cruises. You can write us in Spanish, English, French or Italian.
