The Sadler Barracuda is a fast, seaworthy, exciting and surprisingly docile design by Tony Castro. She was designed to be lightning fast off the wind yet easily handled by a small crew and was unsinkable.
The Sadler Barracuda is easily handled by two but has berths for eleven - at a pinch. Her long waterline and hull shape give her a good turn of speed and her twin rudders give control and manoeuvrability. Her hydraulic lifting keel will help you reach the shallow ports and anchorages most other boats can't reach.
For some years in the 1990s a Barracuda held the record for the Royal Southampton Y C two-handed Round the Island Race.
A recent survey showed no osmosis on the hull.
This Sadler Barracuda has had a lot of work done in recent years and now needs a new owner to enjoy the grin that you get at 20+ knots.
