Mason 54

 Pristine Mason 54. Built by P.S.E./Ta Shing (makers of renowned Nordhaven trawlers)  Gazaway has been continuously maintained by a professional captain and only the best yards (Hinckley, Derektors, Palmer Johnson). With the same owner for the last twenty years, she has been continually updated. Recent upgrades include new Simrad auto-pilot, new roller furling boom sails, new teak decks, Awlgrip paint, electronics and more.

Launched in 1988, Gazaway was used by PAE (Pacific Asian Enterprises) as its "show boat" for the new Mason 54 Model with completely revamped interior design from teh 53 Model. She was sold new to her first owner in 1989 and purchased at Little Harbor yard (Newport) by her current owner in 1992. She has sailed extensively from Maine to the Florida Keys (US), the Bahamas, the West Indies and South America.

Gazaway is truly in sail away condition. Her cruiser friendly features include a modified intercoastal accessible mast of 64' 6". Her roller furling boom for the mainsail, furling headsail and staysail, all controlled in the cockpit, make her very easy for shorthanded sailing. Her professionally varnished interior and exterior teak, her impeccable decks, combined with her beautiful classic lines, make Gazaway a head turner, in any port.
