Classic Clean and lightly used .Spacious light and airy accomodation with a 19+ knot potentiall. "Kelper" is the best example we have seen of this Grand Banks designed, Capable luxury flybridge cruiser. Twin Caterpillar 375 HP V8 diesels and a 3 cylinder Onan 6.5 KVA genset give a great sense of security and solidity - incidentaly the genset is 1500 RPM which is much easier to live with than a 3000 rpm generator - the main engines are well silenced and have almost zero vibration and are regularly serviced. The main saloon with its large windows is a real home from home - from the polished parquet flooring to the built in cabinets for glasses and bottles . The main 3 leaf teak saloon table is fixed and solid, there are saloon doors port and starboard - the companionway to the forward and aft cabins can be closed off - indeed the owners cabin aft has its own private entry to the aft deck. The vessel has extensive blue canvas - there are covers for even the gunwall rubrails - right up to the bow- even the RIB which is included in the sale and is stored in chocks has a matching blue canvas cover . Previous owners have lavished expensive gifts on this vessel - the extensive engine instrumentation above the helm is not standard - there are pressures, temperatures, amps and volts for almost every conceivable piece of equipment all installed to a very high standard. Ostensibly 7 berths - the owners double aft - 2 singles in the saloon and 2 in the forecabin - a previous owner has added a further upper bunk on the stbd side making the forecabin ideal for children. - the aft cabin has its own ensuite shower room and seperate head while the guest / crew loo is forward of the saloon on the stb side .- this is a large space and also incorporates a shower, - a further shower is on the sterndeck as is the deckwash. The vessel has a holding tank. The care and attention to detail may be judged from the fact she has a built in dehumidifier which is run during our Scottish winters keeping her dry and sweet. | ||
