APPEARANCE & CONFIGURATION:
"JOYRIDE" is white with a black bottom, maroon boottop and cove stripes with white decks; shoal draft keel with a skeg-hung rudder. She has all the features and comfort of a mid-forty footer, and is actually 12 seconds/mile faster than her big sister, the '42'. She is very clean throughout, has had little use and conscientious maintenance.
INTERIOR NOTES & ACCOMMODATIONS:
She has accommodations for eight (8) in three (3) cabins with two (2) forward on a "V" berth, four (4) in the main salon on port and starboard settees that convert to double berths, and two (2) on the centerline queen-sized berth aft. The interior is varnished teak with a varnished teak and holly sole. Headroom is 6'4" throughout. The upholstery is light gray fabric. There are Oceanair blinds, hatch covers, screens and shades. All four (4) hanging lockers are cedar-lined and have interior lighting. Natural light and ventilation are provided by six (6) opening hatches (including the main companionway), eleven (11) opening ports, and a solar vent.
The guest cabin is forward with the guest head to port. The main salon is amidships followed by the nav station to port and the walk-thru galley directly opposite to starboard. The master cabin is aft with the master head forward to port.
The guest cabin is forward with a "V" berth with abundant storage in bins, drawers and in a hanging locker, opening overhead hatch, privacy door.
Amidships is the main salon with a hanging locker forward to starboard, settees to port and starboard that convert to double berths, storage under and above and outboard in lockers and on shelves. There is a centerline-mounted teak table with folding leaves, storage within.
The sit-down outboard-facing nav station is next aft to port with a lift-top chart table with chart storage under, fold-out swivel seat, storage under, instrument and electronics panel above and outboard.

The enclosed en suite master head is forward and to port in the aft cabin. There is a manual marine toilet, vanity with storage under, hot and cold pressure shower, storage outboard in lockers.
There are a total of four (4) 12-volt gel cell batteries, circuit breakers, (2) 110-volt shore power with cords, 60/80-amp automatic battery charger, engine alternator, interior lights, navigation lights & closet lights.
The deck is white fiberglass with contrasting light gray non-skid. There are six (6) opening hatches (including the main companionway), eleven (11) opening ports, solar vent, anchor locker on deck, stainless steel bow and stern pulpits with double lifelines, port and starboard boarding gates, dinghy davits, Garhoauer motorlift, outdoor shower.

RIGGING, SAILS & WINCHES:
Her spars are anodized aluminum with stainless steel rod rigging. The mast is 58'4" and is stepped on the keel. There is Harken roller-furling ('90), three (3) internal halyards, jiffy reefing, main sheet traveler. There are a total of four (4) Barient winches (two of which are self-tailing), two (2) lock-in and one (1) standard winch handle. Dutchman Reefing System. Sails have been maintained by Hathaway & Reiser.

"JOYRIDE" is powered by a Yanmar 44 HP fresh water cooled inboard diesel (less than 2000 hours) with a cruising speed of 7 knots and maximum speed of 7.5 knots. She has wheel steering with binnacle guard and wheel brake, manual marine heads with holding tank and "Y" valves for offshore overboard discharge, manual and electric bilge pumps, Simpson-Lawrence electric anchor windlass, oil/water/temperature alarms, fuel/water separator, raw water filter, fixed prop with three (3) blades, Spurs line/weed cutters installed. Cruiser A/C and heat (2 units).
She has the capacity for forty (43) gallons of diesel fuel housed in an aluminum tank, and seventy-five (75) gallons of water housed in an aluminum tank; six (6) additional gallons hot water heated off engine and dockside.
