The Westerly Storm offers seven berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation with over 6ft headroom. In the forecabin a V berth with storage underneath. Opening deck hatch to the foredeck. Hanging locker and vanity unit.
In the saloon there is a dinette to port with a settle berth opposite. It has a fixed saloon table with drop leaves. The chart table is to starboard with lots of storage space and room for instruments. Saloon upholstery is a salmon colour with matching curtains.
Opposite the Nav station is the galley which has a gimballed Flavel two burner gas cooker with oven. Cool box. Some crockery and cutlery included. Twin stainless steel sinks with manually pumped water supply. 80 gallon freshwater capacity in two stainless steel tanks.
Aft of the Navigation station is the Heads compartment with marine Jabsco toilet and washbasin with storage cupboards. Aft of the galley is the aft cabin with a double berth and hanging locker.
Located behind the companionway steps is a 1987 Volvo MD2002 twin cylinder 18HP Diesel engine. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to a Darglow 3 blade feathering bronze propeller (new 2010). Single lever control. 17 Gallon stainless steel fuel tank giving an approximate 250 mile range at 5 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed 6.5 knots. Volvo Deepwater seal last checked May 2016. Engine last service May 2016.
Two 108AH 12v batteries (1 x domestic 1 x engine) new 2008 smart charging from engine alternator and Sterling 4 stage battery charger via 240V shore power supply.
Spars & Sails
Masthead rigged sloop with double spreader rig. Deck stepped anodised aluminium mast and boom by Kemp Spars. Stainless steel standing rigging (c2001). Adjustable backstay. Terylene running rigging. Slab Reefing mainsail. Rotastay headsail furling system, replaced 2001. All lines led aft Spinlock clutches in the cockpit.

Spade rudder. Tiller Steering. Aft self-draining cockpit. Hull was Epoxy coated as a preventative measure in 2002.
