AVALON has quite an interesting history. She started out life named GLEAM at 102’ and shortly after delivery; her first owner circumnavigated the world with his family. After returning, a six-foot extension was added to allow for greater storage space, soon thereafter, she was sold. In 1998, her second owner returned the yacht to the builder in New Zealand where she received an entirely new interior and was given her present name. After enjoying many years of world family cruising, AVALON was then re-purchased by her original and first owner and has remained back in their family ever since. | ||
