Built by Lien Hwa in Taiwan on a solid fiberglass hull, the original Tradewinds 47, is designed with hugh full width aft deck and a two stateroom interior, galley down floorplan to retain a dinette which is opposite the galley on the lower level. A lower helm is standard,and the adjacent sliding door provides easy access to the foredeck. Like many Taiwan imports, the interior of the Tradewinds 47 is completely finished out with teak. Outside the massive deck is probably the largest to be found on a boat this size and has plenty of room for entertaining. The oversize flybridge comes with a U-shaped lounge seating area. Detroit Diesels will cruise the 47 Marine Trader at 16 knots at 18 GPH and reach a top speed of 20 knots. | ||
