This Elite 324 was built in France but purchased new by owners in Pennsylvania and sailed on Lake Erie. There were believed to be two other owners who sailed her on Lake Ontario. The seller has kept the boat on the Ottawa River, so always freshwater.
The Elite 324 is truly a Racer-Cruiser. As a cruiser, she sleeps up to seven. There is also a racing sail inventory which has been unused by the seller.
The Elite 324 is a 32 ft monohull sailboat designed by Philippe Harle. She was built by Kirie (France). This sailboat was produced between 1986 and 1988 with about 90 hulls completed.
Arriving from a French boat builder, sailboats produced under the Elite Yachts brand were marketed to North America through the 1980s. Featuring sailing crafts as long as 64 feet in length, Elite Yachts also featured a more sensible 25-foot sailing vessel. Elite Yachts sloops all feature modern fiberglass hull construction.
