Hatteras "40 Double Cabin"

This quality Hatteras has been thoughtfully owned and maintained by a Merchant Mariner since 2004.

This hull design has proven to be an excellent sea boat. She can be used at cruising speeds of 12 knots for great fuel economy or at higher speeds, 19 knots when time or weather dictate. The layout allows easy movement of passengers and crew from the interior to the bridge without steep ladders or having to leave shelter. Short steps, wide side decks and plentiful handholds add security and safety underway. Ease of handling and all weather comfort are trademarks of this design.

The yacht is being offered as essentially "fully found" and is ready for the next cruise. 

Notice to mariners in the Southern Climates - You have perhaps thought of cruising the Maine coastline (3500 miles) but had not put a plan together. Come to Maine to inspect VOYAGER. Negotiate an agreement that both you and the Seller can agree to.  Return in June and begin a wonderful cruise of the Maine and Southern New England coastline. As August approaches start your Southern trek with stops in Newport,  Rhode Island, Wooden Boat Show in Mystic Ct, Annapolis MD and many other wonderful locations.

The proud owner will be available to introduce you to all working systems until you are thoroughly comfortable. Owner is a retired Merchant Mariner Engineer.
