Price Reduced to sell but the owner is perfectly content to continue to enjoy the boat.
Brand New seating installed for the Fly Bridge!! Check it out!
This tastefully restored and maintained Down East Style Flybridge Cruiser is about as close to the ideal yacht as you can get. There are lots of well thought out accessories such as Air Conditioning, Stove top, Microwave, extensive canvas (including a winter cover), Furuno GPS Navigator. The 350 hp Yanmar engine moves the boat along gracefully at 10 - 12 knots.
New canvas and yes, the boat is ready to go. The owner has been using the boat and intends to continue to use the boat for the rest of the season if it is not sold (there is no sense in having the boat just sit at the dock). Please call or e-mail for an appointment if you want to see the boat (the owner may be using it).

Everyone may have a little different opinion about what represents "the down east look", but to me, the Duffy 35 captures that look. With the proud high bow, Dark Blue Topsides, White cabin sides, a touch of varnish work, stainless steel accessories, and this one has a fly bridge which I prefer, SuzyPots captures the classic "down east look". There are a lot of boats out there that claim to have the down east look, but this is the one that would call "the Classic Down East Boat".
If you combine all the things you would want to have in a 35' yacht you cannot be far from what Suzipots has to offer. She has had a history of competent and capable owners. All features are set up to maximize your enjoyment of being on the water. From the fortess anchor and windlass in the bow to the swim ladder off the swimplatform; from the comfortable seating in the fly bridge to the large thick mattress in the forward vee berth; everything about this boat makes great cruising sense. Suzipots is perfect for the evening cruise, rendezvous, watching club races, or even an occasional overnight.
The main cabin is very open with the helm station forward to starboard. On port opposite the helm is a comfortable area for a companion to help navigate and keep the helmsman company. The couch (to port) in the main salon also opens up to become a large comfortable double bed. Under the couch is additional storage as well as the access to the house batteries. Opposite the couch in the main cabin is the galley on the starboard side which can become the center of the whole boat.
The aft cockpit is low maintenance with a large storage box that serves as a table or seat. Add the additional folding chairs and you have a comfortable place for cocktails or meals.
Most people will not be spending a lot of time down below on this boat, but the forward Vee berth is quite large and comfortable. Reading lights and an overhead hatch provide lighting and fresh air. There are a number of storage lockers and a hanging locker for evening clothes and a full mirror. The head has a single sink medicine cabinet, and a storge locker. On the floor is a teak grate over the shower drain for the occasional shower.
There is pressurized hot and cold water throughout with a Grohe Faucet in the galley, hot water heated and stored in a Raritan 12 gallon tank. The Lectra/San Treatment system provides a clean approved chemical maceration system for the waste. (The sanitation equipment was in compliance with requirement for the Chesapeake Bay.
The current owner has diligently maintained the yacht with regular service, varnishing and replacement of older canvas. Much of the interior was upgraded in 2000 and the engine with very few hours runs like new. Considering the boat was built in 1988, she is in great shape.
Navigation and Electronic Equipment
Navigation Equipment includes dual Data Marine Dart Gauges for depth, speed, log, and temperature. The Furuno GPS Navigator Model 1721 Mark-2 is the primary navigation system with an additional Garmin GPS Map 545 at the lower helm.
Atmosphere is provided by the Sony AM/FM Compact Disc Player with speakers through-out and Coastal Climate control for the 16,000 BTU Air Conditioning (when plugged in) . Warmth is provided by a Heater Craft Heater or Marine Air reverse cycle air conditioner.
All canvas (except the winter cover) has jus been replaced and is in first class condition.
There is a significant amount of canvas for this yacht including a full winter cover which is still in good enough shape to continue to cover the boat for several years. At home at the dock, the fly bridge is covered and the aft cockpit also has a cover which is kept on unless the boat is being used. When the boat is underway, there is a bimini top over the fly bridge and canvas curtains seperate the main cabin from the aft cabin.
The 350 hp Yanmar engine (April 2011 hours 833) was recently installed with easy access under the main cabin floor to the Transmission (ZF ERM 280A Ratio 2/1) propeller shaft, and PSS dripless connection. Racor fuel filters/seperators are also easily accessible.
There is a Heart Interface 1000 200 amp inverter/converter/22 amp charger installed with 115 Volt AC outlets and 115 Volt AC electrical System to support the Microwave and refrigeration. Of course there is a Shore Power cord to plug in at the dock.
The galley is in-line style on the starboard side just inside the main cabin. This makes it very convenient for serving the flybridge, aft cockpit, main cabin and helm station. There is a 2 burner Seaward Princess Propane stove with a cutting board cover. There is a single handle Grohe faucet over a single sink, open counter space, a GE Space Saver microwave over the counter and a Haier Welbuilt 4.0 cu Ft. Regrigeration Unit. There is also a portable gas grill which can hang on the rail for grilling the catch of the day. Finally there is a table which can be assembled where needed for serving you and your guests.
