Canadian Sunset is a one-owner boat, and a proven passage maker with over 78,000 nautical miles under her keel. She was built to stand the test of time. After more than a quarter century of cruising she is still well found and active. She sails fast and comfortable and is easily handled by two adults. She has a clean and livable interior that was redone in Thailand in March, 2005 with white Formica and teak trim. She has tons of storage space, easily capable of carrying three months of groceries and more. Her engine was completely overhauled in 2009 @ 8500 hours. A Cruising World article dated July 26, 2011, described the boat as, “She has pretty lines, a low cabin house and flush foredeck. The quarter berths are bright and spacious." In another article, dated September 12, 2011 the same magazine claimed, "She is offshore capable, a comfortable modern cruiser with traditional lines and seaworthy performance; the importance of having clear decks to work on and a safe interior with plenty of handholds is obvious at sea." Canadian Sunset is a turnkey vessel with all the cruising gear one would ever need already onboard. She is ready and able, and waiting for her new owners to take her offshore again.
