The Morgan Classic 41’ is not to be mistaken with the Out Island 41 series. She's especially spacious and very comfortable and has been redesigned, by Frank Butler and Gerry Douglas of Catalina for better sailing characteristics. The keel is a modified fin with a skeg-hung rudder that enhances upwind performance and her 4'10" draft allows sailing throughout the islands of the Bahamas, and beyond. This change has given the old 41’ a totally new personality under sail. You’ll also note a cutaway forefront, fin keel & skeg hung rudder. Yacht designer Bob Perry states that “this design is almost singlehandedly responsible for the trend toward center cockpit boats”…an “this layout worked so great, we have seen few improvements, if any, in center cockpit boats since”. It will “get you there in comfort and privacy…the main thing, is that all the elements of the design are in concert with the general concept. The Morgan 41 remains the standard for shoal draft”.
This Proven cruising vessel is set up for cruising, and comfortable living aboard, with 6'4" headroom, large berths, shower, the most “liveable cockpit” in the cruising world with a full size hard top bimini…. and more. She is also equipped with full canvas and enclosure for the roomy cockpit, which will allow you to stay warm and dry no matter what the weather. Teak drink holder, Custom cockpit table and custom pedestal guard with electronics mounted on guard.
She is privately owned never chartered, and the current owners have cruised for the past 7 seasons, and are now ready to allow some one else the true pleasure of this sailing vessel. She is ready to sail away today, just load your provisions, your personal gear, weigh anchor and start your dream of sailing.
The owners and guests will appreciate the spaciousness, amenities and livability, of “FUN BEAM”. Don’t miss this grand opportunity to own a comfortable and roomy sailing vessel that is ready to take you on your dream cruise.

There is a counter top mounted wash basin, lockers and a Raritan Electric marine toilet with Y-valve selection for overboard or holding tank discharge. There are 2 holding tanks, equaling 47 gallons total. Opposite the head is locker, with shelf.
Next, aft of the forward stateroom and head and amidships, is a roomy comfortable main salon, with “L” shaped dinette to starboard and large settee to port. The dinette is convertible for sleeping berth for 1. There is extensive storage throughout, with main saloon storage below and outboard, with lockers and shelves above and outboard and also of note, there are two teak tambour cabinets behind dinette with large shelf between, as well as two more tambour cabinets to port, with fiddle leaf shelf and storage under, which completes the usefulness of the saloon. The cleverly designed teak dinette table folds up on the bulkhead, to give you more open FUN ROOM, when not eating or using the table.
Aft of the main salon and to starboard, is the classic “wrap around” “U” shape configured, offshore safe galley, that will delight the gourmet, whether at sea or dockside, with drawers, extensive lockers, and large, refrigeration and freezer with top opening doors.
There is a large, deep stainless steel sink, generous counter space, abundant storage for dishes and food supplies in the six cabinets, eight drawers, and top loading dry storage, all equaling LIVEABILITY. There is plenty of room for TWO COOKS IN THE GALLEY!!!
Directly across from the galley, to port, is a proper offshore, dedicated, forward facing navigation station and chart table with plenty of room for additional electronic navigation and communication equipment outboard. The large nav table/desk has a generous storage locker under the desk top and room for the additional electronic navigation and communication equipment outboard. There is storage under the navigators seat and 4-drawers under the nav desk. Overhead is an opening port for excellent cross ventilation with the galley and Nav area on either side of the companionway.
Just aft of the nav station is a standup passageway to owners master cabin. Outboard is a fabulous ships workbench, with counter top over outboard, tons of storage, opening port for light and ventilation ship's electrical panel and 2 engine access doors inboard. The engine room is below the center cockpit and houses the main engine, batteries, fuel and water tanks, electrical junction boxes, pumps, seacocks and other mechanical components, all with terrific access for maintenance.
NOW COMES THE FUN PART!! Walking further aft you will find, perhaps the best captains quarters, in the sailing community. There is a large athwartship berth – from PORT TO STARBOARD, 2-opening ports and a large hatch which offers excellent ventilation, a lovely way to sleep with warm tropical breezes blowing over you.
There is a double, full length hanging locker, with teak louvered doors outboard to port, dressing seat, drawers, bin storage, wrap around shelving, holding tank and steering gear below, lockers to starboard and teak door into a wonderful liveaboard private head.
The aft head off of the master stateroom is equipped with an electric marine toilet, sink with H/C pressure water and separate walk-in shower stall with seat, laundry locker, large mirror, sliding door storage/med cabinet with mirrored face, and opening port.
