The design is inspired by the traditional New England workboat hull. A solid fiberglass, full displacement hull with a plumb bow and a full-length, ballasted keel with a rounded transom. The Victory Tug hull is made of eleven layers of fiberglass starting with the keel and extending to a point six inches above the waterline and then continues upward with seven layers of fiberglass therafter. Stout and Strong! A single, large teak log provided the matching material fr the cabin sole, bead board, valances, cabinets, trim and deck of each of the tugs. This is hull 40 of a very sucessful production build of 76 hulls. Very economical to operate she is reported to achieve 4.5 nmpg cruising at 7.4 knots at 1,800 rpm! **********DIESEL POWERED***********
