The name Island Packet is synonymous with quality and ruggedness. The 27 was introduced in 1985 and has been winning the hearts of adventurous sailors wanting a tough pocket cruiser for years.
This 1986 cutter is wider than most boats her size, providing a roomy, cabin with two sleeping berths.
The extended bow allows her to maintain a larger sail to capture light winds.
The cabin features richly-oiled teak throughout, giving you the luxury of what sailing used to be at an affordable price.
This is a boat for cruisers who love to hold the wind; she can handle the big gusts that keep lesser boats docked. If you enjoy a car with a stick-shift, you’ll like the adventure of this boat.
This is a well maintained boat ready for a new home as the owner has decided to trade up.
As a recent full time solo cruiser and live aboard, I can offer you many insights and shared experience in choosing your next boat. This includes technical as well as outfitting advice. As a corporate "graduate" I can offer you a customer service experience that has my full attention and includes both negotiation, insurance, and finance skills.
I can help make your boat buying experience easy and fun, and guarantee that you can get the boat best suited for YOUR boating needs and budget. I can help make your buying and selling experience take less time. I can help make sure you get the best price. And, I can be there to help manage your showing, survey, insurance needs, financing options, and closing activities… whew!
