MASSIVE price reduction to 99,500. Compare to others in her class, there is simply no better value on the Great Lakes today.
Her lines are timeless. Her pedigree is undeniable. Her condition is exquisite.
Michigan Boat Brokers is proud to present this fabulous, freshwater only, Chris-Craft 422 Commander. Her current owners have owned her since 2004 where she has been kept in freshwater in season and only heated storage when out of season. She has been maintained with an open checkbook and to a degree we would challenge you to match, regardless of vessel age.
While she may dazzle you with her clean lines and classic styling, she is a thoroughbred at heart. Powered by twin 6-71TI Detroit Diesels producing a massive 485hp each she will cruise effortlessly at 18 knots and will top out at 25+ knots when pushed. With outstanding hull design, she is a smooth, dry ride even in rough seas. She is a boat that was built for any journey her new owners wish to embark on.
Finally, this is boat that can do it all, from entertaining to day boating, to week long (or longer!) voyages. Her roomy cockpit and flybridge will provide plenty of room for friends and family to enjoy the sun and sea.. When the weather turns sour, simply head inside to her spacious and well-appointed salon where newly upholstered chairs and couch await you. Other featured comforts include a full size refrigerator with ice maker, 3 heat and air conditioning systems, Onan generator and full size head and shower.
If you are serious about owning a vessel in this category, you owe it to yourself to spend time aboard this boat. She is clean, exceptionally well maintained and yet still priced aggressively. Her owners are looking for a trawler and wish to sell this boat first, any serious offers will be considered. We encourage you to come see the boat. Bring your white gloves and your checkbook! You simply will not finder a nicer boat and you do not want to miss her.

Walk thru and layout
Upon entering this boat from the spacious cockpit, you are greeted to a spacious salon trimmed with rich woodwork that has been extremely well cared for. The salon is nicely appointed with a sofa, table, 2 chairs and 2 bar stools. Making use of her 14 foot beam, the salon allows for plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing.
Below the salon is the engine room, where a small ladder leads below decks. Buyers will find excellent access to mechanical systems and a bilge that is nearly spotless. Engines are clean and in excellent mechanical condition. All hoses and electrical connections are secured and connected properly.
Moving forward from the salon, we find the galley to the portside. The galley is apportioned with real wood floors, a large stainless steel sink, microwave, stove and a full size refrigerator! The refrigerator is equipped with a freezer and ice maker.
From the galley we again move forward and find the guest berth to our starboard side. The guest room contains a full size hanging locker and two bunks which will sleep two people. The guest room also contains independent heat and air conditioning controls.
To port there is the head, which features an electric head and full size shower and stall. The head also features jack and jill doors which lead to the master suite. The master suite contains a large mattress, two port holes and a hatch to let in plenty of light and fresh air. The master suite also features a full size vanity and lots of storage in addition to it's own climate control system.
In all she can sleep 5 people comfortably and entertain many more. This is a boat built for comfort both at sea and at port. She has been maintained to an incredibly high standard and is a true classic in every sense of the word. You simply will not find another boat nicer in this class.
