The Gulf 32, built by Capital yachts in California, was designed by the notable naval architect, William Garden, known for his traditionally styled seagoing yachts. It features a long full keel with attached rudder, a 40 hp diesel engine, and a pilot house with an inside helm station in addition to the cockpit helm. At 16,000 lbs. displacement, the Gulf 32 is a solid yacht and has comfortable accommodations for six.
WINDWARD appears to be a fine example. She has had only three owners, has always been kept in New England waters, and has been sailed only during the summer season. She is equipped with an Autohelm 4000 autopilot with remote and a Force 10 CNG cabin heater. Her current owner has upgraded her thoughtfully, installing a LeisureFurl roller-reefing/furling mainsail system, and an electric anchor windlass. She is on land, bottom painted, ready for your inspection, and ready for launch.
