Hull and Deck
The hull of the Sundowner 30 is laminated fiberglass. It features a hard keel, plumb bow and hard chines. The topsides are molded fiberglass, with faux plank seams. The decks are fiberglass with marine plywood coring. For ports and hatches there is a forward bomar aluminum hatch and a aft transom door. There are also two doors one to port and the other to starboard at the helm.

As you step into the cabin you are located right in the salon/ galley area. It features a large dinette table with a L shaped settee to starboard. Just forward of the settee is the galley, with a Hillerage three burner stove, a double stainless steel sink and a Norcold refrigeration system.
