"Moondance" is a popular and great sailing boat from the Hunter line. She performs well both in light and heavy wind conditions. She is a particularly versatile boat for the Chesapeake Bay with a modest draft of four feet. Below decks she offers two private staterooms with ample storage. There is a spacious galley/salon area with dinette on the starboard side that also converts into a double berth. To port is a berth that also is a seat for the Nav station. The use of space below decks is well utilized and is purposeful.
The topside layout is simple and functional . There is a three year old Harken furling system and 140 genoa head sail. The two year old Strong Track system for the main sail and roller furling both aid in the ease of setting sails, and Lazy Jacks enhance the ease of flaking the main sail when you are done. Running rigging and rope clutches are recently new with all halyards terminating into the cockpit by cabin top winches. The bimini is a year old and combined with the dodger gives some protection against rain and sun if desired. There is also an autopilot that adds ease and comfort to your experience aboard "Moondance". | ||
