Entering the cabin from the cockpit, the quality construction is evident. The interior is rubbed effect varnished teak with a teak and holly cabin sole. All cushions are NEW and are of a soft off white fabric.
The galley is to port of the companionway. White laminate counter tops and facing bulkheads provide a light, open feel to the area. The Galley is "U" shaped, which is always considered the best layout for off shore cruising. There are double sinks in the forward section, served by hot and cold pressure water faucet and a back up faucet with foot operated pump. Amidships in the galley counter is a 4 burner CNG stove with an oven that is stainless steel. In the aft counter is the ice box which has a new Frigebot 12 volt refrigeration system. Numerous lockers are outboard of the galley counters and there is storage under the sink area. To starboard of the companionway is a wide and comfortable quarter berth. The hull sides are lined with varnished ash trim, and a shelf is over the berth. Forward of the quarter berth is the navigation table with a new Garmin GPS installed. The berth serves as the seat, and there are lockers outboard and under the nav table.
The main cabin is next forward. To Port is an "L" shaped settee that, with the back rest raised, forms a comfortable berth. This berth also slides inboard and a cushion makes this berth into a double. To starboard is another settee that converts to a single. Outboard of each berth are two lockers and book racks. A large, drop leaf, dining table is mounted on the port bulkhead, as is a Force 10 Kerosene cabin heater. There is storage under the port berth and water tankage under the starboard. 7 opening ports, a large Bomar overhead hatch, and a dorade vent provide great ventilation throughout the main cabin and galley / nav areas. Forward in the main cabin to starboard is a set of drawers and a hanging locker.
The Head area is to port of the passageway to the forward cabin. It is finished in white laminates with varnished teak trim. A vanity sink is outboard with storage areas under and outboard. A marine toilet (new in '09) is aft. There is a telephone style shower connected to the vanity faucet. An opening port and large dorade vent provide good ventilation.
The forward cabin is a true stateroom. A bi-folding door closes the cabin to the passageway. To port is a hanging locker, and to starboard is a bureau. Forward of each of these lockers are the v-berths. A seat is found between the berths and drawers and lockers are under. A filler cushion allows the berth to become a double. This cabin as well is well ventilated by way of a large Bomar overhead hatch and 2 opening ports. The hull outboard of the berths is lined in varnished ash ceilings, and shelves are above, she has a true, warm interior.
