Yachting.com Review of Californian Yachts:
The various Californian Yachts boat models are now well known among boat enthusiast for their efficient use of space, hull lines that allow maximum speed and maneuverability with minimal horsepower, and great fuel economy. Overall, the consensus is that these boats have a luxury feel for a moderate price.
Navigator & Californian Traditions Over the past 50 years, the Marshalls have developed and engineered key elements in their yacht designs that are now standard in every model that leaves the assembly line. It is because of these traditions, and the assurance of a top-quality, made in America vessel, that Navigator Yachts has attracted one of the most loyal followings of repeat Navigator & Californian yacht owners. Solid Fiberglass Hulls... All Navigator & Californian Yachts are built on a solid fiberglass hull. Unlike many other manufacturers, no core filling is used in any model. This means the hull is stronger, will never soak up water and rot from the inside out, and contributes to the solid and uncompromising feeling that a Navigator Yacht experiences in rough water….
Built for the Pacific Northwest... Navigator and Californian Yachts are particularly well suited for coastal and inland cruising from Mexico to Alaska. The Pacific Northwest demands much of a vessel, and Navigator Yachts deliver. From their sturdy seaworthy construction, to their excellent visibility and well-appointed pilothouses, Northwest boaters feel at home and safe on a Navigator product. Semi-Custom Built... Each and every Navigator and Californian Yacht is semi-custom built. We take the time to listen to your needs, and together with our professional design team, we will design the yacht of your dreams. Should your dream include a motoryacht outside of the range of our models? No problem...we will custom build your entire vessel from the ground up! Longevity & Value... Longevity: a yacht that’s built to last.
Value: Navigator is a family owned and operated business that fabricates many components in-house. This adds up to a better product at a lower cost. The Marshall family has consistently strived to achieve the perfect balance between useful equipment, and unnecessary frivolities that drive price up, all without ever sacrificing quality. Built in the U.S.A... The Marshall family has been building fiberglass boats in Southern California for over 50 years. At Navigator Yachts, Inc., we would like to thank you for supporting the US economy, American workers, and their families.
This fabulous yacht has some really nice features that are not often seen on a yacht of this size. The fly bridge can comfortably accomodate 4 to 6 people with a very large bench seat and open area forward of the helm station. The bimini and side curtains all allow full visibility and total versitility in all kinds of weather conditions. The cockpit is large and ideal for sports fishing.
Power up the 6.5 Kw Onan generator and you have all the comforts of home at your fingertips. The main cabin has a very open feel with large opening windows on either side and comfortable seating around the couch on the port side or the dining room table to starboard. Moving down the companionway the galley is to starboard and down, but the top is open so again the boat has this wonderful open feeling. On port, there is a full size head with seperate shower stall. Plenty of head room below and storage lockers, drawers and cabinets for all kinds of gear.
The forward cabin has an offset double bed with seating and storage for all kinds of occasions.
