The Cal 44 is cutter rig and ready to take her new owner back south, Mexico; the Islands...or whereever the journey might take you. She is cutter rig and true to a cutter has running backstays.She has just returned from the winter in the Islands and Seller has compleated the journey. Many mechanical upgrades were done to facilitate life on board and confined handling: Arturus bow thruster! Yanmar diesel replaced the original Westerbeke engine; cutlass bearing; Cruisairr air conditioning/reverse cyle (heat): 16 btu & 7 btu; SeaFrost refrigeration/freezer. She also has an Ideal anchor windlass w. foredeck foot control.

The sea-kindly U shaped galley is located at the base of the companionway steps, on the port side.
