Bowman Pilot House Sloop

Screech is a rugged, extremely well-built, properly equipped  world-class blue water passage-maker, true to her heritage in every way.  She's a no-nonsense vessel, over-built everywhere she needs to be.  Her deck and hull are solid fiberglass with no coring.  The deck has teak planking which is layed on and does not communicate with the interior. The hull design, was Boat Of The Year at the London Boat Show, and did extremely well in offshore racing under the CCA Rule, including the infamous Fastnet. Holman & Pye, custom designed Screech to perform well to weather, and all points of sail, so that she would become the fast passage-maker she proved out to be. After designing Screech, (not so named in her beginnings) they went on to be the navel architects who would be the principal designers at Oyster Yachts.
