The B 38 is yet another great Baltic of the first era. So fast as to win on races and so luxurious as to allow for memorable cruises, when these things were possible. The elegant lines from Dough Peterson are still modern in every aspect but when sailing down-wind. These boats are still very fast and comfortable, as this unit demonstrates, having finished first of her class and 17th overall (out from 254 boats) at the 1999 ARC, and first overall in 2004. In 2008 she had a new teak deck laid on, with new Harken tracks and ball bearing cars. Many other vital details have been renewed or replaced recently. This boat is in magnific shape.
