In Ferenc Mate’s book, The World’s Best Sailboats. He says of Vindo sailboats: “the workmanship is so precise that a violin maker wouldn’t improve on it.”
TRUE NORTH has had caring ownership. Her present owner purchased her in 2013. He has kept the varnish gleaming, and the teak decks (which were replaced on trunk cabin top in 2004, and foredeck and side decks were replaced in 2003) are in excellent condition with no raised Thiokol bedding.
Her bottom is smooth, her original white gelcoat shows well. Her varnished mahogany interior is superb.
What a breathtakingly appealing and attractive sloop, which is easily handled by one or two people.
