Solid William Shaw-designed "classic plastic" built in Bristol, RI--designed for the challenging sailing conditions of New England, the Pearsons are heavily laid up, well built boats that are perfect for the Bay: The 34 has full aft sections to increase sail-carrying ability, and the forward sections are moderately full to provide greater buoyancy and a dryer ride. In addition, the design had two keel configurations available and this one has the deep fixed keel combined with a skeg-hung rudder. All of this translates to an exceptionally stable and secure feel in typically boisterous Bay conditions, ESPECIALLY for a 34-footer!
This particular example has updated electronics (including Raymarine color chartplotter and autopilot), all new canvas (very nice cadet grey and black Sunbrella), a barrier coated and recently painted bottom (August 2016, at which time the hull was buffed and waxed), and relatively low time on the 25 hp Universal diesel engine that was just serviced (October 2017).
She's also VERY well priced and also lying in a potentially transferable Sausalito Yacht Harbor slip; there's a long wait to get into the marina here so this is a material benefit if you're able to take advantage...
