26 ft Oday centerboard sloop, 1984, outboard power, located in Plainville CT, out of the water, but ready to go.

Oday Sailboats are known for their comfort and sailing ability as well as their spaciousness. They will give an excellent windward performance. The rudder is larger than average and is easy to control.

The Oday Company was one of the most recognized sailboat manufacturing companies of its day. They were known to build their sailboats for the average sailor. It was what made their boats so popular.

This centerboard sloop has a 2’ 6” draft to give you the freedom to go where ever you like, despite the tide. Simple outboard power with an on deck gas can locker eliminated the worries associated with inboard power. Deck stepped main mast and a roller furling system belie the Oday reputation for easy sailing boats. Regretfully this boat does not have any sails, they were stolen.

Below the forepeak boats a super vee berth. Just aft is the marine head to port and a vanity with sink with water (manual pump).  The main saloon has port and starboard settees and a bulkhead fold down table for dining onboard. There is a pilot berth aft port. A galley area with sink and traditional ice box is aft to port.
