MAKAI was originally launched in 1984 and extensively redone by Nauset Marine in 1993 for the current owner. The house was lengthened by 2’, adding a hardtop over the large cockpit, a new head and galley were installed, along with an all new interior with storage lockers taking advantage of all useable space. All house windows installed with Vetus foam seal strip. Owners/Installation manuals for all systems & equipment aboard. She also features a highly efficient keel cooled Frigoboat refrigeration system. The decks were reworked and painted 2005 to include reefing out of core, epoxy fill and re-drill all fastener holes. The cabin and flybridge were repainted with Awlgrip in 2007. MAKAI is in excellent condition thanks to her highly competent owner who has enjoyed constantly improving her during his nearly twenty years of ownership. He has kept meticulous maintenance records and also a comprehensive spare parts inventory. In short , MAKAI is in an absolutely turnkey Downeast yacht ready for trouble free cruising. | ||
