CONSTRUCTION:  Hand laminated solid glass hull,  One piece Baltec ¾” end grain balsa core fiberglass deck. Solid fiberglass cabintop sides.Rub rails with stainless steel half oval.White cabin sides and deck with light tan non-skid. Copper grounding system for standing rigging, thru hulls and engine. Bronze portlights, dorades, winches, and major hardware.

Dark blue hull (Awlgripped 2000) with single white bootstripe and gold leaf cove stripe. white deck and off white non-skid,   All exterior trim is varnished teak. Bottom paint is blue. Bottom stripped and Interprotect coated 2012.

ACCOMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: GALLEY: A traditional U-shaped galley is located on the starboard side at the foot of the companionway.  Features include Seafrost engine driven refrigeration- (compressor replaced in 2009 with upgraded/new type of refrigerant).  Stainless steel double sink with hot and cold pressure water and foot pump; 3 burner Tasco-Kenyon LP (propane) gas stove and oven; ample food storage with (3) large storage lockers, pot storage, (3) drawers, and custom dish rack, dishes, cups and glasses.   NAV STATION: The nav. station is located on the port side at the base of the companionway.  Nav table opens for storage and the custom seat has an upholstered cushioned top that opens for tool storage.   There is custom hanging locker conveniently located to port at the foot of the companionway.  next to the quarterberth MAIN SALON:The salon has a custom folding teak table with port and starboard  berths  Storage lockers  are located on both sides, bookshelf on port.  Large hanging locker is located on the port side forward with additional storage shelves. Two gimbaled oil lamps to port and starboard, Force 10 Propane heater mounted on stbd bulkhead.  Comfortable ultrasuede cushions throughout in like new condition (2007)   V-BERTH: The forward V-berth is roomy and comfortable with a filler cushion, excellent light and ventilation.  There are shelves on both port and starboard sides above the berth; drawers below the berth and a port side seat with locker behind.  HEAD:  Located on the starboard side aft of the V-berth is a fully enclosed head -Wilcox Crittenden manual head,( all sanitation  hoses and clamps were replaced in 2010,  H/C pressure water (optional foot pump), telephone type shower, shower sump,  ample storage and shelves.

The Interior cabin  woodwork is a tasteful mix of white laminate facades, teak bulkheads and cabin sides and teak trim. All teak has been finished with a satin varnish.  Exposed areas of hull are trimmed with varnished teak battens.  Locker interiors are lined with cork.  Bunk and cabinetry fronts are white laminate; cabin overhead liner is white laminate.  Floors are varnished solid teak plank.  Interior cushions are Ultrasuede ( ‘Camel’ color new 2007). White curtains for all ports. Headroom is 6’4” throughout interior.

There is excellent ventilation and light throughout the interior provided by deck prisms(4), opening ports (9) with screens, two large Bomar opening hatches with screens, one small Bomar opening hatch in head with screen, and two dorade vents.

STEERING: Merriman pedestal with cable drive, wheel brake and separate engine controls (shift and throttle).  Edson 34” stainless steel wheel with varnished teak trim.  Stainless steel binnacle guard with attached varnished teak drink holder and varnished teak cockpit table.  White cover for wheel and pedestal

COMMENTS: The Morris ‘Justine’ 36 is a beautiful example of the traditional Chuck Paine cruising designs built by Morris Yachts.   ‘Summer Isle’ has been very meticulously maintained and continually upgraded by its owner.    Summer Isle is equipped for comfortable coastal or distance cruising.

‘Summer Isle’ is in excellent condition.  She is in heated storage and a comfortable showing can be arranged at any time.
