Hunter 54 hull number 40 of 44 Hunter Fifty-Fours built by Hunter Marine, 1981-1983. Built as a 1984 model in 1983 and one of the latest models.
The Hunter 54 for Hunter Fifty-four is by design, a very fast cruiser that maneuvers like a 40 footer and has the speed of a sixty. Comfort and luxury down below and ease of handling on deck. Electric sail handling and anchor windlass make quick work of hoisting the main or the anchor. Stack Pack main and roller furling Genoa and Staysail are also wonderfully easy to deploy and retrieve. Three zone hydronic diesel heater makes also makes hot water and can even keep the Diesel engine preheated! With the two stateroom, two head and convertible main salon, this Hunter sailboat can comfortably sleep six to eight people. Her reversed transom allowing a convenient boarding platform and also opens to an aft garage compartment for a dinghy stored inside the hull.
