GITANA is the prefect boat for either a racing or cruising owner looking for speed and power along with comfort. She has excellent speed performance without compromising her seaworthiness. This high performance cruiser was designed by German Frers and delivered by Yacht Offiine, Pesaro, Italy in 1984. She has enjoyed excellent ownership over her life. She underwent a complete rebuild in 1996 and again in 2003/2004 including new interior, electrical, plumbing, machinery, standing and running rigging, putting her in new condition with a new cockpit installed and new teak decks. In 2006 a new 4-spreader carbon fiber mast and boom were installed. Since her purchase by her current owner in 2002, she has a new paint job, all systems have been serviced, equipment upgraded and she continues to enjoy excellent ownership.
