Karma has all the equipment she needs and she is ready to go cruising!
The Cape Dory 28 is a wonderfully sturdy cruising boat with a classic design. She features a practical layout which results in easy handling for a minimum crew. The entire design of the boat including the classic Alberg full keel, self tending club footed jib and anchor roller incorporated in the beautiful teak bowsprit, results in a yacht that can be easily single handed. This boat is always in demand by traditional sailors who appreciate a rugged, coastal cruiser. In addition, she is ideal for the beginning sailor or the small cruising family, especially with the inclusion of an AC system, which is rare for a boat of this size and age. Designed by the great Carl Alberg, Karma has the tried and true DNA of all his popular and successful designs.
This is a beautiful sea boat with wonderful sailing characteristics, quality construction and has the feel of a much bigger vessel. Now it is your time to own and enjoy a classic!

The Cape Dory 28 has a very practical interior layout. The forward cabin features a double v-berth and filler with ample storage beneath. Moving aft, the enclosed head is to port. Opposite the head is where a hanging locker used to be. On Karma, instead of the locker, the Webasto Air Conditioning unit is installed here. It's rare for a boat of this size and age to have AC.
The main cabin features a settee that can be used for a single berth to the starboard and a settee to port that will slide out for a double berth. There is a dining table that folds up and stows against the bulkhead, and the seats have brand new cushions.
The galley is aft on either side of the companionway steps and features a stainless steel sink, fresh water pump, partitioned ice box, and a two burner stove. Eight bronze opening ports and two deck hatches provide great ventilation even in the summer. All berths are 6’4” and the main salon has 6’2” headroom. The interior accommodates two adults very well in the two main salon berths and accommodates one adult or two smaller children comfortably in the V-berth.
